“For every minute spent organizing an hour is earned.”

~ Benjamin Franklin

While working as a special education teacher over the last decade, I taught students to get organized and manage their time more efficiently. I saw them achieve a calmer state of mind through simple organization. I learned to be more organized in every aspect of my life while teaching full time during the day and completing a masters program at night. Time management and effective organization systems were crucial for my success as a teacher and a student. By the time I earned a Master’s of Science in Education and created an Adult Transition Program for individuals with autism, I had grown very passionate about helping people get organized from the inside out.

Since I was a little girl I have been organizing spaces with my sister Jodi. Whenever, we came across a space that felt uncomfortable, either due to clutter or design, we called it “NFG” (Not Feel Good). After a while, even our family members began using this term and in the last few years – my husband! We would take an NFG drawer full of socks and separate them into categories. Then we would find appropriate sized containers for each category, place the socks in their new container and put them back in the drawer. When I decided to make a career change a couple of years ago, I found myself helping friends and family get organized and Palmer Organizing was born.

As a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO) and professionally trained Time Management Coach, I create custom organizing systems. I I teach organizing skills and help clients de-clutter their living spaces. It is my experience that when a client has an unorganized living space they also have a very busy mind. The services I provide offer solutions for both the clutter in your home and your mind. I believe that when you are mindful of returning items to their designated place, your environment is more peaceful. You have more space in your day for the things you love and a clearer conscience for navigating your day. At Palmer Organizing, I help you get organized from the inside out because I believe that is the long-term solution for disorganization.

“Stop waiting for the perfect time to get organized. Take this moment and make some progress.”
